I have a misdemenor from when I was 16 which was 12 years ago. Looks like I have to get a certified copy of my records? How do I do this? I dont even remember the exact dates or wording of the charges.

You have to go to the police station where the arresting officer was located to get the arrest report. If they don't have the report you need them to give you a letter stating they no longer have the report.

If there was a court hearing in relation to the arrest you need to go to the court house and get a certified copy of the court records which costs about $15 and is done by the administration staff.
