My wife was unemployed for last 4 months and just got a job. We will be filing applications soon.

* Can we file application with her new job so that we don't need an external sponsor? Or since she didn't have job for 4 months we need to wait longer?

* If we CAN file it with her new job then do we have to wait for her to get a paystub or can we just get a letter from her employer stating her annual income?

Thanks very much

AOS from H1B

An employment letter from her employer will be sufficient enough for your AOS application
