Just popping my head in to say GOOD LUCK FEB. FILERS!! I'm so excited to see what the upcoming week brings for our group. Joyce/Jeremy, you guys are excellent group leaders, keeping us all pumped. And congrats on your NOA-2, not sure if I said that earlier on, so wanted to say it now. :)

Greetings all. Long time reader, first time poster.

I filed my I-129F on Feb 19. I see a lot of people posting:

I-129F Sent : X/X/09

NOA 1 notice date : X/X/09

NOA 1 hard copy received : X/X/09

I am assuming that NAO1 and NAO2 are "notice of approval". So I guess this means I am waiting for our government to give me the thumbs up on my I-129F. Then the next is NAO2 which is what, their government approval? So much paperwork, mailing things around and abbreviations that people use.

Hi! NOA stands for "Notice of Action". I think the first notice (NOA1) is just to tell you that they've received your I-129F then the NOA2 is the approval ^_^

NOA1 (Receipt Notice

NOA2 (Approval Notice)
