Greetings all. Long time reader, first time poster.

I filed my I-129F on Feb 19. I see a lot of people posting:

I-129F Sent : X/X/09

NOA 1 notice date : X/X/09

NOA 1 hard copy received : X/X/09

I am assuming that NAO1 and NAO2 are "notice of approval". So I guess this means I am waiting for our government to give me the thumbs up on my I-129F. Then the next is NAO2 which is what, their government approval? So much paperwork, mailing things around and abbreviations that people use.

02/03/09 I-129F sent

02/19/09 P1

06/02/09 P2 (103 days)

06/11/09 P2.5

06/15/09 P3 sent

07/05/09 P3 returned

07/17/09 P4 sent

07/23/09 P4 received

08/27/09 interview - PINK

09/01/09 VISA in hand

09/08/09 state side

10/16/09 married

01/20/10 mailed AOS/AP/EAD

From sending the P1 to interview

189 days = 6 months and 8 days

05/05/08 Met Online

11/21/08 1st trip

01/23/09 2nd trip

08/22/09 3rd trip

Congrats to you!!! You are so lucky!!! Did you get an email at all, assuming you registered for the email update? Did they update the status online? Or did you just get the NOA2 by mail? I am just curious on how accurate the online status is. Although my online status is still "Case received and pending", maybe I will soon be lucky to get the NOA2 in the mail!!! Anyways, just hoping.....

Nevermind....I just saw your other post. No status change, no email.

Hello, I just found this forum~~

I recieved my NOA1 on Feb. 20, hearing all the people who got theirs in 30 days is so promising... but I'm afraid I'm going to be slapped with an RFE (I wish I had found this website sooner. T.T) Oh well, I'll be positive. Grats to everyone who is getting their NOA2 so quickly, it gives the rest of us hope :D

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I know that the process isn't very clearly defined. However, it would be nice if I had the petition approved before I leave for Germany in late April. Good luck to everyone!

WOW!!! I can't believe that so many people from Feb '09 are already getting approved. I hope mine gets approved soon. Keeping my fingers crossed and checking the mail daily. Hopefully, it'll be here by my birthday...that would be awesome!!

I just checked Igor's timeline & according to the database, it predicts that my application will be adjudicated between April 10 & April 22. That is perfect since those dates are before I go to Germany. I can't wait and I'm really hoping the NOA2 arrives in that timeframe!!

Welcome to the Feb 09 CSC Filers.. yes NOA means Notice of Approval. If you want to know more of the K1 processes and guides go to this link... it should give you a lot of information about K1 processing.
