Hey Joyce, i hope everything will come out just fine. That's strange that your in AP in this stage of the game. Isn't AP part of the NVC process and procedure? Although I did have this happen to my mom, she petitioned for I130 for her current husband from China... and after passing his interview, he waited nearly 3 month in order to receive his passport. The reason is still unknown...

But your definitely in my prayers ! Hope you can receive your visa before your fiance leaves back to the States. It would be so nice for you two to travel back together rather than saying goodbye at the airport!

Best of luck!

cdrrc:

I called basically twice a day! Once in the morning and Once in the evening. I think they update their database after 6 PM.

^_^ hope your case will be received so soon

CDRRCk24-- In order to find out if NVC as received your case this is what you have to do:

- Call 603-334-0700 (Yes, lines may be busy, please keep redialing until you get through)

- Press 1 and then press 5 TO SPEAK TO A LIVE PERSON, it is important that you speak to a live person.

Then you give them your NOA #1 Receipt # for your i129F petition. IF your case is received, he/she will verify the beneficiary & petitioner's name and date of birth.

You will then be given a new case #, starting with the embassy initial. You use that case number from here on.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Awesome thank you, it has not been received yet but I will call next week. Rick

Hi DragonFish, Glad to hear that your petition is finally received and now moving along the process. It does come ^-^ now, that when everythings in Taiwan things will move much faster.

CDRRK24, Happy to hear that your case is also received by NVC. It usually stays at NVC for literally 1-2 days *-*

Hope for the best you two!

Hi S.IS. Hwang... I'm sorry for this very delayed reply... but I thank you so much for your caring thoughts... yeah... its been rough... but it is what it is... I still have to count my blessings as Jeremy will be able to come for work next week... :)(L):) At least that would lighten up the load...

Btw, AP i think can occur within NVC processing as well as at the embassy... I called the embassy this week and I was told that the delay of our case is because of name check... my name that is... I think I won the lottery of random id check... I was told it would take 1 - 2 months... so I hope not longer. So that's our case update for now...

I hope you'll be with your SO soon...

Thanks again and take care S.IS Hwang!
