I just want to send a congrats to everyone so far and best wishes to those that are still waiting. I can understand how frustrating it can be to see others get their NOA2. But when you get it, the wait didn't really seam that long and after that it is all down hill and moves pretty quick from there.

still waiting since 01/12/09. no touches, no rfe's nothing! called uscis a few times recently and got nowhere. just spoke with them and they said that yes it does appear that my petition is outside of the normal timeline and that i can put in a request to see what was going on then when the rep tried to submit it say that the computer program says that I still have 30 days until my petiton is outside the window. she admits that the website says 5 months but still they wont put in a request for an investigation.

what do I have to do to get one? ive tried the congressman route to no avail thus far. no one calls me back.

How did you know NVC got it and it left NVC? I called NVC and they said they cant tell me, I have to wait 4 weeks.

We are planning to getting married, in August & applying for our AOS in MidAugust.

CDRRCk24-- In order to find out if NVC as received your case this is what you have to do:

- Call 603-334-0700 (Yes, lines may be busy, please keep redialing until you get through)

- Press 1 and then press 5 TO SPEAK TO A LIVE PERSON, it is important that you speak to a live person.

Then you give them your NOA #1 Receipt # for your i129F petition. IF your case is received, he/she will verify the beneficiary & petitioner's name and date of birth.

You will then be given a new case #, starting with the embassy initial. You use that case number from here on.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for asking. We'll we're are still waiting for the visa. Unfortunately our case was held for more Administrative processing and review. Had my interview last May 22 and up until now there's not update on its status. The interview went well but I just don't know why they had to do that. But my passport is still with the embassy though... So its just a matter of when they'll be done with it, i guess?... Right now, we still don't know when I'm going to be leaving. But Jeremy's coming over for work next month. We're praying it will come soon so I can leave right about the same time his trip ends. So we'll see. If all goes well then maybe we'll be entering the US together in August.

WOW! so the countdown is getting nearer huh?!... I'm excited for you!!! hope all goes well with all your plans!!!
