Ok guys, maybe a stupid question, but how do you know if NVC receives your case and when they are done with it?

I just got my letter from NVC on 6-13-08. They said they received my papers on 6-10-09 and the case is being sent to the correct consulate and I even have a GUZ number. Things are moving fast now.

This is what I did. I didn't wait for any letters to arrive from NVC. I just called them (603-334-0700). Their line seems to be busy most of the time, but I just kept dialing for a while and finally got through. The customer service there is VERY nice, I was very impressed. They asked for my USCIS receipt number and gave me all the information. Turns out they received my case in the middle of last week (USCIS mailed it out on the 9th) and they already sent it to Warsaw today!!! :dance: The nice lady also gave me my case number for the embassy. So, indeed, things seem to be happening quite rapidly once you get your NOA2!

I called through too. They said mine should be passed through some time soon, it was just put in on Friday, so I figured I would call maybe Thursday to check on it again.

This is what I did. I didn't wait for any letters to arrive from NVC. I just called them (603-334-0700). Ours has been passed through NVC too, called again today to check, got my MTL # and was told it was forwarded today. I definately recommend calling about 5 days after the NOA2 date!

Using WoW speak: Woot! Grats! NVC FTW! Now on to Packet 3 stuff! I wonder if it's OK to fax them the forms, once the embassy receives the case and enters it into their system, without having to wait for the actual packet to arrive in the mail, since everything is on the web anyways.

Just for that I'm going to Ding when I get the visa Its wierd, if I was going through Vancouver I could fax things back and the whole P3 is online, but through Montreal its not...silly ppl.
