Hello! Seems I am losing any patience now. Can anybody tell me why the current processing date for K1 california on this site started moving backwardS? It was Feb 9th, then 6th, then jan 29th, now Jan 9th? How is this possible and what this means?

I know what you mean. Mine use to say the first part of next month, now not till July or Aug. I will need to stop looking at my timeline.

I also have my mind set that it takes between 120 and 160 days for NOA2 so I have marked on my calendar July 27th. If it goes past this time, then I will start to worry, make a few phone calls and write some letters.

Well I do really hope that your NOA2 is coming soon Sean...

We need to stay positive that it will come much sooner than we expect it...

Thanks for your wishes Katrina!!!...Hhhhmmm.... No DCF nor in military...no trick really... honestly was quite surprised at how fast things have been. Its kind of bitter-sweet for us having ours approved quick and seeing others wait longer... takes off the joy in it... But oh well.. it is what it is... and all we can do is pray it will all come sooner for you guys...It came when we really least expected it...Hope you hang in there and that the wait isn't as heavy as its suppose to be...

I want to really give thanks to everyone for their support. Even though it would be nice to have it move right a long, it really can't for me. I know it will cost a small fortune for another round trip ticket for me, a one way for her, all the fees for the exam and interview, hotel, food and anything else I might not foresee getting her here. So time is on my side to save a little for this. I think the dollar amount I have in my head is way beyond what I really need.

It is a blessing for a bit more time, but my heart just aches being away from him. I was really hoping to move before winter so I wouldn't have to drive cross country in the snow, but each month added makes it seem farther and farther from that goal I know I have to try to be positive and I really am trying.

On a side note, Wes is a sweety, he bought a GPS system for our treck across America so that we don't get lost. It also will tell me if I'm going over the speed limit which will be handy while I get use to miles vs kilometers He also wanted to get it for me so I have some freedom once I'm there, by being able to find places on my own while hes working...not getting lost when going shopping will be awesome! He spoils me so.

Guys! Cheer up, none of the february filers will be stuck here for 6 months. Telling you, we all need to get our NOA 2 within 3 months after NOA1.

Yes, life sure works in such wondrous ways but I believe that there's a reason for everything... Even though we have our NOA2 sooner than we thought we would because of circumstances that are beyond our control, it looks like I will still have to wait for 2 more months (after the visa issuance) before we can see each other again… so it’s the other way around for us… (It’s not that I am whining though – hehehehehe!) I am still hopeful that things will eventually fall into place... With hope we will all surely get there.

It’s just crazy how we are so apart from our SO and the missing part just sucks so bad … but oh well we’re all in the same boat and that’s the reason why we’re here for each… Let’s make this journey light for everyone else… Hang on everyone… Another week is coming... and that's going to mean NOA2s are coming too!!!
