*sigh* its one of those weekends when I can't get California and Wes out of my head. I just keep picturing myself down there, like I'm reliving my trips, and its driving me mental. I have been dreaming of Wes non-stop too, and all it does is make me miss him more. This waiting sucks rediculously much.

thanks hun, I needed that. I've spent the day browsing wedding sites online to see if I can find some nice things, so thats helping, but planning from a distance isn't all that super. Camie, do you know any good venues out there? I've seen a couple that arent rediculously stupid price, but they close at 9pm Kinda taking a peak so that when I get down there I have a shorter list of places to visit to book for the big wedding next year.

Just received the receipt letter from the NVC this week, so I think we'll be getting our interview packet from Moscow in the next week or so!

looks like we're the couple who's been waiting longest for noa2 out of the feb filers so far.. hope this means ours comes soon

We still haven't seen any change with the online status. It's month's old compared to snail mail notices and we've stopped even looking.

I saw some November 2008 and January 2009 filers on Igor's List who have just received their NOA2 this week. Stay positive dear!

Our NOA2 is dated March 31. The last time Jim checked our case status online was March 27th and it still said pending - no updates/touches. I don't think they update it very often. I'll ask him to check again. ^^ Don't worry if the online status doesn't change - I read about a lot of people who are already in the States, married, and the site still says their case is pending @_@

Mine still doesn't even show up, so it will be even more of a surprise when we get it. But yeah, as Aislinn says, there are a few people who have been in the states for like 7 months, are working on their AOS and their case status still shows pending

I have been told that the "pending" never changes. Someone I talked to the other day said his wife has been here in the states for the last 2 years and it still says pending.

I also stopped checking.

yeah that sounds like what i read about pending, i need to stop checking and almost giving myself a heart attack when i think it's changed and then realise it hasn't!

Hey Danu!!!... yeah this wait is indeed ridiculous!!! Even though we may have an option to proceed with the petition as fast as we could there's a lot of circumstances that is also in the lline making it a longer wait than its supposed to be but hey, lets keep it to mind that everything will just fall into place and that's where we're all headed... *hugs*

Btw, where in California will you be at?... I have a cousin with a chair cover rental business in California and she's been hooked up to serving (mostly for weddings) a wide rannge of hotels in CA. She's also into doing events too just recently... So if you're interested PM me on your details so I can refer you to her and she may help you out.
