Ok, the big day is right around the corner. I am suppose to be getting married next week.

I need help, I have been told I have to go to the embassy in amman and get a statement saying I was not being coerced to marry.

So I realize I have to do that, my real question is I have been married and divorced. Does anyone have any experiance with this that they

would be willing to share?

I have been told there is a letter the embassy will write saying your single and free to marry.

Do you have to take your divorce decree, or is it just signing something simple.

I really need help if anyone has any information you can PM me. I just have to say that I hate sharing my personal information I just really need to know what the paperwork from the embassy says and how long to get it ect.

I am going spastic really ONE MORE WEEK

THank you in advance for any help you have to offer

OMG how exciting!! :D

I only have experience of the "single, never been married" letter, as I told you. Its an affidavit. I dont know what you need if you have been divorced, sorry.

I know there will be someone to come along and help.

Just wanted to say, good luck and have a blast on your trip!!!

:)

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!
