hi all ,

i need help from people who went through paper work with US embassy in Cairo specially students

what do i need to get to explain my military status to the embassy (i have nothing right now because i'm still student and my college automatically delay it until i graduate )...... do i need to go to the department of recruitment and ask them or what ...i'm confused :huh:

wouldn't it be much easier if the Egyptian army gave us the choice to join or not :ranting: human rights my foot

anyway any help would be appreciated and thank u in advance

well u need to go military office and get paper said that u r nt requir for military service ...then after u getting this paper u will go to translate it to english ( translation office which approved from the american embassy u can find them in american embassy website ) ... hope this work with u .

but i've heard that military records aren't required for students ,do u think this is true ? r u student and went through this before?.

well those poeple are bunch of jerks ... just rules and papers lead them ... so i think they will ask for militay and also for police record ...birth certificate ..( police record and military papers u will translate them in approved office u can check it on embassy website there there r many office for that ... birth certificate u will translate it at ministry of health near from magles el sha3b ) wish u good luck buddy .
