Hello guys , happy valentine day

first this is the worst Valentine for me people in this lovely day should get good news , not me .Today i have received strange letter letter from the local immigration office here , the form is G-56 , i have never seen this before , the reason of the appointment is - interview regarding your pending I-485 application- , as you see in my signature i had the interview couple months ago , what i am sad about is they are requesting everything again , what i mean by that is , all what i have already submitted before , this is very crazy for me i had hard time getting the visa to be with my fiancee and nothing has changed, i am waiting till after the holidays to call them or make an infopass , i have been trying to find information about this form G-56 and i found that it has been sent to some people who applying for citizenship not the green card so what i understood is the USCIS using this form as an update letter. i just want to know if there is somebody has experience this or has information.

looking to hear from anybody who read this , thank you

The G-56 is a General Call In Letter that is requesting you to bring additional evidence. My guess is that they first scheduled interview, then an IO pre-screened your application and found some additional evidence is required and sent out the G-56 form.

I would bring more relationship evidence, things showing living together is a bona fide marital relationship.

i will make sure of that , those are evidence i had with me marriage certificate, phone gas electric cable internet rent bank statements in both our names, photos, she has my last name in her social security, plus all other required things like tax .... i am in a mood that i can not find anything i should get more than this , at the interview she looked at everything and she was satisfied and she said you should receive response within a month .
