transcripts and tax returns.... I-864

I have already done my taxes for 2008 and I have copies of that tax return. Do I make copies of the tax return? Or copies of my W-2 for 2008? I have transcripts for the previous years to send.... Does anyone have any ideas about this one?

Copies of your signed 1040 and attachments, plus your W-2s, are all that are required. Transcripts are also OK.

You have to attach a copy of your 2008 income tax return as long as you've done them already... but for people who did not do 2008 it's not yet required by NVC...

The more supporting documents you have, the better. I did all !!! Last 3 years of return, since I haven't file for 2008, I send a copy of my 2008 W2 showing the money I made for that year!

...and photocopies will suffice for the tax documents. NVC doesn't require originals of those.
