I sent out the pre-IMBRA I-129F form this morning just to find out that the new version is on the website. What do I do now?

05/18/06 - Married

I-130 for CR-1

6/03/06 - Submitted I-130 petition

6/08/06 - NOA1 generated

7/18/06 - Transferred to CSC

7/25/06 - Petition arrived at CSC

7/26, 7/27, 7/28 - Touched

8/03/06 - Approved!!! (56 days)

8/04, 08/06 - Touched

8/17/06 - Petition arrives at NVC, Case number assigned

8/28/06 - NVC: DS-3032 & AOS Fee Bill generated

8/29/06 - Emailed DS-3032 Choice of Agent

I sure hope you're kidding because if you look at the date on my original post, you would see that the new I-129F form was only made publicly available on the USCIS website the VERY SAME DAY I mailed out the petition. At the time, there was no information on if or when the new form would become available so rather than chance it, I submitted the old form to "hold my place in line". So no, it was not a mistake, and definitely not carelessness on my part. Bad timing, perhaps... but my "mistake" probably put me in line ahead of you.

Anyway, thanks for the lecture. Good luck to you as well.

They cash your check no matter.. It is non refundable so whether you send the right stuff or not it will be cashed.. unless for some reason it is less the amount then they will get on you.. Just wait for your RFE

On if they accepted it? If it is a USCIS form and has the appropriate stuff inside then yes they will put it in their system and work with you until its complete.
