The I-130 for my wife and for our child were approved ut no K-3 yet. I was planning on the K-3 ut who knows

now when that will happen. Anyone have any idea what would bebest for me to do next to take advantage

of the time passing without the K-3 approval?

I sumitted the I-130 for both of them but only the I-130. I have since heard that I should have sent an I-485 as well.

Can anyone tell me if I am on the right path to use the I-130 to it's full advantage, immediate EAD and AOS etc.?

I have thought of the K-3 but perhaps the I-130 would be better now since the K-3 could be another month.

I could go to the USCIS site ,but I have always found more understanding and better advise here from those

who are in the same boat with me.

To those who have not seen approval yet, along with others here, my best wishes are with you.

It's unusual for the I-129F not to be approved the same day as the I-130 but in the long run, you're much better off with the CR1/CR2 path anyway. See the guides for next steps.
