Which is reliable & cheaper, buy ticket online or to travel agencies here in Manila

While waiting outside the USEM Manila we were given flyers from travel agencies selling tickets & I see its a lot cheaper than tickets sold online. what do you think are they reliable? i will suggest this to my husband because he's going to buy me ticket soon, but if i find it cheaper here then i just purchase here to save "sayang din un". This is my first time to travel outside PH. Any suggestion?

Mamalou try your husband buy a ticket by calling LBC they are selling plane ticket but it only exclusive for PAL quite cheap here is the toll free number 1800-338-5424 local 1013 they can send your itinerary thru email "E-Ticket" just pay the travel tax at the airport upon check-in, good luck...

try to check travel agencies too and compare...btw, sometimes that flyer tells only the fare without the taxes yet...I can refer you to my old travel agency where I worked before mamalou...

I got mine through the cheapest source I could personally find, the same source I used when flying to the Phils last year when I got married. It is http://www.cheapoair.com/Default.aspx?tabid=1685.

The price for a one way ticket for my wife, from Manila to whre I live in the mountains of Tennessee (a tiny airport here) was $1015 + Tax for a total of $1079. It is Manila to Detroit, with a layover of 6 hours so that she wont be rushed in any way with immigration and making her connecting flight. Then Detroit to Tri-Cities airport here in Bristol, Tennessee. Total flying time is 25 hours. Total trip time 31 hours.

if your husband is american express card holder why dont u try https://home.americanexpress.com/home/mt_personal_cm.shtml? then look travel my husband used cheapoair.com but when he check the american express site he found out the its more cheaper than the other site...
