You still did not answer my question "ARE YOU DOING K-1" ???

If a K-1 visa is not approved within 4 months of the I-129f petition being approved, you must notify the embassy of your intent

to still marry your fiance. They have the power to revalidate the I-129f approval for an additional 4 months.

May use this: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/extend-approval.doc

Marlene

Yes, they should extend it.

Again, you may want to contact them or DOS to ask about it.

I think we may need to contact the Mexican Embassy , the other link is from teh Dominican Republic.. All the applications went through Mexico because that is where he has been living for past 8 years. The consulate that has our file is Ciudad Juarez Mexico. Im sorry.. I feel like an idiot, im sure you can understand my frustration.. we went to Juarez with high hopes and now all this begins again.... would you suggest me to call Consulate to set up new appt, will we have too , i mean we had an open appt.

As long as the petition is active the embassy should extend it. If you receive a request for anything don't delay in sending it back. Good luck
