Honestly? My father gave me and my brother talks about sex. LOL...when he told us about masterbation (I think I was only 10 or 11), I asked my Dad how someone masturbates and he gestured with his hand. As a Catholic, we were told it was a serious sin. It bothered me so much that I went to talk with a priest (thank God he wasn't a pedophile) and he told me that it's not a big deal....that even priests do it. Years later he left the priesthood and married a woman. I made a vow not make my children feel it is dirty, but it should be something that is done discreetly.

My personal opinion is that the boy is not the father of the child - however, I admit that is totally unsubstantiated by any evidence

oh get a sense of humor madame cleo. My post contained fond memories of a funny but somewhat deranged nun. To be honest though, sex education hasn't done much to stem the flood of teenage pregnancies, STDs and the like has it? Whilst ignorance is not an option, fear certainly is. If parents these days actually parented, rather than pushing out babies and literally dragging them up, we wouldn't have 13 year olds screwing around.

I don't think it's just a sexual education failure by the parents. Quite honestly if one has greater expectations of oneself (ie a mind on a career and education) then one is much less likely to engage in sexually risky practices.

This is really disgusting. She looks much older than him. He looks like he's nowhere near 13. They're both stupid kids, with irresponsible parents who will be a public charge for the rest of their lives.
