Please there is any of you that took the I-134 not notarized for the interview? How did everything turned out????Thank you every one!!!

Hey we had a request for further information on our K1 visa and one of the stipulations was that another affidavit of support needs to be notarized. At first I was surprised as notarys can be expensive.

I am in two minds about your case. We almost didn't get it notarized but becuase the USCIS said it had to be, we did what they wanted. Our lawyer said it did matter when we asked so we went with our lawyer.

My advise to you would be to get it done, and at least you have satisfied all the requirements.

I noticed you just got your NOA2. You submitted a I-134 financial affidavit of support with your I-129F petition? The I-134 is to be taken to the interview.

YES, THE FIRST I-134 THAT WE SENT WITH OUR PETITION WE DIDN'T NEEDED TO GET NOTARIZED, BUT THE ONE I HAVE TO TAKE WITH ME FOR THE INTERVIEW SOMEPEOPLE SAYS IT WAS TO BE NOTARIZED THAT'S WHY I'M GETTING CONFUSED.BUT ANY WAY I PRINT OFF WHAT I READED ON THE USCIS: "You must sign Form I-134 in your full name. (Note: Signing Form I-134 is under penalty of perjury under U.S. law). For this reason, it is not necessary to sign Form I-134 before a notary, nor to have your signature notarize after you sign it.", I'LL TAKE THAT NOTE WITH ME FOR THE INTERVIEW JUST IN CASE THEY ASK ANYTHING, AND EXPLAIN THEM THAT MY FIANCE TRIED NOTARIZED IN DIFFERENT'S NOTARY PUBLIC AND THEY DIDN'T DO T BECAUSE THERE WAS NO SPACE IN THE PAPER. WILL SEE WHAT HAPPEN!!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE...

I got it notorized anyway just incase. I had copies notorized and copied not notorized. So i would just incase and it does not cost much for getting it notorized.

I asked about that at the USE London, (cause my forms were the old ones and had been Notarszed) they said they will accept both sets of forms. However there is no need to notarise the current forms. Its only if you completed the old form it was required.
