mt pleasant, congrats. :)

I wish VSC would do something and at least explain why their approvals are so irregular. We're happy for every single case here that gets approved. But it would give some peace of mind (and also hope) to those that get bypassed if they at least heard something.

Congrats!

As far as such a quick approval, I have read that sometimes they will pick up a app for training purposes. That may explain some things?

i still can't check our status online, it gives us this message: "Your case can not be found at this time in Case Status Online. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283" so i can't add my case to my portfolio

lucky you!!! wish you a smooth journey on NVC :luv:

You don't include the dashes (minus signs) in the input box, do you?

I wonder if there was a typo in the NOA1 receipt they sent you. We were always able to check our status online (as soon as we figured out we could, thanks to VJ). Is it possible to call USCIS like we do NVC?

Scary thought about trainees picking up apps at random. Maybe they prefer things like it has to be typewritten, stapled together, with a cover letter, a.s.o.?

Hi P-i-L

I have the same message as you when I try to log in online. I heard from another online forum that this is not unusual - apparently sometimes they never enter them onto the system but you still get your approval. I know it sucks - it's so frustrating when other people can check and see 'touches'. But I'm trying to be positive and think that this way it'll be such a nice surprise when I finally get my (our) approval.

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

that was really fast, did you use an expedite?????

were you able to check your status online when you got your noa1???

we have almost the same time line and we can't check our status online, it gives us an error message

you give us hope :dance::dance: we might be approved as well

the process seems to have an irregular way of approving things. it almost makes me think that the guys working on our petitions have a different work efficiecies; you would wish they were paid by work pieces and i bet they would clear their desks within no time. i appreciate your insight and my wish for you is that everything works out fast. as i compare my time line with your, it looks like you are next in line to get your NOA 2. i am not sure what is going on with your online case status coz i was able to access mine within a day of recieving the NOA1. are you able to login into your account? if yes, have you added your case into the portifolio coz if you haven't manually added the case, then you have nothing to track. please let me know how you are doing.

i still can't check our status online, it gives us this message: "Your case can not be found at this time in Case Status Online. Please check your receipt number and try again. lucky you!!! wish you a smooth journey on NVC :luv:

I'd call the USCIS helpline, as painful as it is speaking with them, you really want to make sure you have the correct receipt number as well as know what is going on with your case. I wish you the best of luck.

AO-cons,

i just have a question for you. i am trying to prepare husband and i for a smooth sail through NVC and through the embassy interview. from your knowledge and experinces, what are the required vaccinations at the embassies ? can someone get the vaccinationd form their primary doctors ahead of time insted of waiting for the doctor who will do the medical?

Congrats :dance::dance: Thats was so fast, we have a Nairobi Embassy thread , You can have a look at them and all your questions will be answered.
