My fiance did her medical exam and they said they saw something in the chest ex-ray and made her do sputem test 3 days in a row and now they are saying they wont have results until April 9 . Are Interview is scheduled for March 3rd and we were supposed to fly back here to US together on March 9th. i dont know what to do. I hope and pray she does not have tb. i have been waiting so long and i already purshed the airplane tickets because she is healthy and i didnt think we would have a problem with the medical. has anyone been through this? any advise from my freinds out there?

Sucks but it takes about 2 months for the sputum culture. If she is positive she'll have undergo about 6 months of TB cure. If not SLEC normally will reschedule her interview.

USCIS does HIGHLY recommends not to purchase airline tickets until visas are in hand. LOTS do anyway and some get lucky.

The USEM fiancee visa interview isn't a "shoe in" either. No guarens!

if your fiancee is positive she will undergo medication at slec..i know someone who is in that situation where she needs to live in manila for 6 months just to take the medication from slec..

i hope and pray your fiancee is healthy..and buying tickets before everything is ok is not really a smart thing to do...my husband bought ticket after i was done with the cfo..you were not thinking normal when you did that.

I hope and i'll pray for her for the negative result as i am in the same situation..Yes,have to wait 2 mos for the sputum culture result and mine will be on APRIL 01,..I started feeling anxious for the result but i have all my faith in God,Lets just pray and god is with us always...
