Back when we were living together in Israel my fiance and I didnt have cable so we watched a lot of internet tube. We somehow surfed our way from American Idol to Britons got talent to some Simon Cowell interviews to one about him trying to create a opera singing group.... Il Divo

Side note: I like rock'n roll, Phish, Grateful Dead, hip-hop. I have boxes of concert tickets I have been to (including following Phish for dozens of shows)... so 4 guys singing opera while sounding nice isn't exactly my cup of tea for an entire concert.

But the woman in my life literally cried the first time she heard them in our cramped apartment on our lap-top while stealing someone's internet connection.

I had some downtime so I decided to check out Il Divos' website to see if they were touring. Figured if I got her tickets for Valentines day or if I could time the concert near her summer birthday I could score some serious points.

http://tickets.ildivo.com/

ok so the above link came up and without fully scrolling down I saw that the Philly show was the nearest location to NY. So I clicked the date, found a couple good seats and bought them.

Side note: A phish ticket was always the same price for a seat or lawn and the most I ever spent was for this upcoming tour where they are like $60 each. The Il Divos were $150 each. What does love cost you say...

Anyway I wanted to look at a seating chart after I purchased them and returned to the website where I realized that I didnt fully scroll down. Those were concert dates for the VIP packages and had I just checked the bottom of the page I would have seen the full tour where I could have gone to East Rutherford, NJ, or even Boston where I could have stayed with chill friends.

I blame it on my guyness... where I refused to do actual research because that would mean researching Il Divo. My impatience at trying to do something icky but nice for my wife will cost me 3 extra hours driving and perhaps a hotel room.

4 boys serenating me and I am sure at least one of them is ball-less

Emmett Fitz-Hume: I'm sorry I'm late, I had to attend the reading of a will. I had to stay till the very end, and I found out I received nothing... broke my arm.
