The OP isn't ready to settle down, by every indication. Nothing wrong with her admitting that, doing what is necessary with USCIS to drop the petition, and letting these guys get on with their lives.

I think you have alot of soul searching to do. You need to distance yourself from both men for a while and decide what you really want. It may be that you may need to be alone for a while and cancel the visa for now. It's not really fair to you or these men involved unless your heart is in the right place.

Good luck on your decision

Wow. I say don't do anything drastic for now, keep seeing a therapist faithfully, and see what happens. Its easy for us here on VJ to say dump them both! But we aren't in your shoes. I always wondered what happens to people who go to Cuba illegally and then want to file to bring their new SO here??!? Hmmm...

What means "going to Cuba illegally" ? Sorry if it seems a stupid question but I don't know US' laws about Cuba, or Cuba's laws about the US

You can enter through another country, but you cant go to a travel agent and say "i want a flight from louisville to Cuba" you have to make a pit stop in another country. thats my understanding

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

My question is THIS:

IF you knew it was not going to work..( dont care if you were in *love or not) and you had problems from the start. WHY DID YOU GET MARRIED. Now your in a huge pickle of a mess. Sorry girl but WOW you REALLY dug a hole. The first rule of thumb. DO NOT ever look to the backyard of another till YOUR messy yard is fully cleaned

I agree may I have some popcorn??

Lisa, you are absolutely correct. When I lived in Canada people would go there on vacation directly from Montreal. At the time, I think the fine was $750 for an American going there. I have never been myself, but I heard they don't stamp your passport if you are an American to avoid the fine.

One odd thing I noticed last year. I was at the airport in Miami at 5 am, and there was this huge line. It was American Airlines charter flight to Cuba. It didn't show up on the monitors as a flight. Not really sure what that was about. All the people had like 8 pieces of luggage each.

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

Is that the reason why Cuban cigars are banned in the United States?

I don't think she is immature, you have never been together to a Dominican man, it is the hell.

One of the reasons why I decided to look other places is because they are really bad.

Not all Dominican men are hell --- some deserve the bad reputation and some do not.

OP -- good to hear you are speaking with a therapist. Please don't jump from one LDR to another. It's tough -- on so many levels.
