Hello VJers I hope you can help with a question we are struggling with. We have recently received our NOA2 and the interview apppointment letter however we are still trying to clear up my fiance's daughter's birth certificate which we hope to have completed on Feb 23rd. We are planning for them both to travel to USA together. How long is the wait in order to get an actual visa appointment at USEM in Manila? Or should we wait until her daughter's passport is received before attempting to set an interview date? I believe that you need to have your passport ready before you go for the medical. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You mention that you received the NOA2 and interview appointment? therefore if your fiance's daughter birth certificate not clear yet before the shcedule of medical exam you need to call the USEM as early as possible....so it means it will be clear around Feb 23, how about at NSO, passport processing it takes 3 to 7 days....good luck guys
