Perhaps it is time to pay teachers more?

Yeah really....

And perhaps it's time to stop being so freaking judgmental of prostitutes? Really, #######.

amen!

I kid you not, I find it quite sad that prostitutes are portrayed as the root of all evil, perversion, decadence, blah blah blah. For pete's sake. We should all get off our houses of cards.

Who'd pay for that?

I used to work part-time as a cab driver and you would be surprised. There is a seedy side of life out there that most people are never exposed to

it's legal in germany, and probably other countries in europe too.

i see them as providing a necessary service, which if legalized here in the states, would be beneficial in many ways - able to tax them, able to screen them for diseases, and so on.

I hear you charles. I can barely count how many sex-workers have come to the shelters where I have volunteered over the years in Mexico, Canada and the US- severely beaten up, raped and the like; by either their johns or their pimps, or the police. And some admin b1tch at the shelters tried once to refuse one of them entrance. WRONG FVCKING THING TO DO WITH ME THERE. It got nasty; and the woman was indeed allowed to stay.

Women are women. and if we cast the first stone I asume we are free of ANY shortcomings. One of the hige failings of first wave feminism was precisely this: ONE standard of what womanhood was about.

Oks, getting off the soapbox now. **sigh**

In this economy I'll bet you can get some pretty good deals and the selection is probably up.

Probably not so much in Ohio.
