Should I wait for a notice for medical exam?

Hi everyone, i got here with a K-1 visa and now applying for AOS.

I had my medical exam done in my home country already...so I didn't file the form I693.

I thought i was waiting for a notice from USCIS to tell me where to go to get the required vaccinations.

Should I ?

It's been two months since I took my biometrics. And now I found this forum and people are talking about I693 and I693a.

..I am very confused. I noticed that I693a is a summary of the Part 1, 2 and 5 of I693. But I am worried that the USCIS people would ask me for I693 instead if I ask the doctor to fill in the I693a.

Please kindly advise me on the best course of action.

Many thanx indeed.

No... true that you have done your physical exam at your home country, but you still need to submit a coyp of I693, with only the vaccination section filled out by a designated civil surgeone. I693A is obsolete and should no longer be used

Thank you. I just got my vaccinations today and got the I693 form filled by a civil surgeon.

But I didn't get the TB...I had an x-ray check in my home country and the film is still sealed and well kept by myself.

I have no idea who will collect the x-ray.

Now I am not sure if I should send the I693 (in a sealed envelop) to USCIS directly? I have sent my AOS in Dec already.

Or do they accept it at the AOS interview? (but before they would give me an interview...

they might send me a RFE first to ask for the I693??? Is this correct? )

Sorry, I tried to call the USCIS hotline...but for some reason, i can never get anyone to talk to..all are recorded messages.

I would appreciate any answer and advice. Thanks

Frame the xray and hang it on the wall.

Hold onto the I-693 until asked for. You may not get RFE.

You may not get an interview.

Take it to the interview. If you have one.

Btw, we paid $470 for the vaccinations. Is that insane?

(TD, MMR and Varicella)

the cost of the vaccination varies depending on many factor, such as the location, the vaccination shots you had etc. My wife had one shot and cost us $150...

thank you all for your replies.

Today I received the NOA for an interview scheduled in late March.

And it says I can bring a completed medical form I693 to the interview.

That means I don't have to send it on now.

I just hope that the POE has forwarded my medical info to them.

It would be very frustrating that I could only find out that they didn't have that at the interview.

What should one do when the USCIS have the medical information? The only paperwork we were allowed to keep were some misc. information packets.

The POE officer took pretty much everything. There were no problems, but the more I read here, it seems as though that was a mistake. And to top things off,

the doctor that did her physical no longer practices anymore. So getting in touch with him is impossible. I'm hoping there won't be an RFE, but if one comes, I'm

afraid we are stuck between a rock and a hard place.
