I have a friend who get married with a citizen. She received the approval notice ? What's the next step?

Does she can apply for a social security number with the approval?

You need to gives us more deatils. What approval notice? What form number? If she has been approved she can get an SSN, but even before being approved she could have gotten a SSN in most states, this does not mean that she can work. But like I said before we not more details; AOS, EAD, AP, etc.

i do not know the form my friend filled out. she lives in ny she came with a tourist visa and 3 years later she get married and applyied for adjustment of status. recently she get an approval notice. does she can apply for ssn and how?
