How accurate are the processing dates on the USCIS website,

For I-130 in Vermont it says that they are processing 24th Dec 2005.. however a few people with NOA1 in Jan/Feb have now been approved.. so are the dates on the website just not accurate or is them some other explanation ?

Thanks in advance !!

The best I can tell you is to look at the USCIS dates with a grain of salt. Looking at the dates on the website for the last 4 months, I can say with confidence that the service centers usually are at least a month ahead of those dates. The best way to check the real dates is by periodically checking the timeline on VJ. That is what kept me going and it turned out to be more accurate than the USCIS dates. Once I saw petitions from late Jan and early Feb being approved, I knew it would be my turn soon and that is what happened. So I am sure your petition is not that far away from being approved.

Gotta keep hope alive.
