i just need to know and looking at my timeline should i stay with My K3 or go for the IR1/CR1 visa process

Generally the K-3 is a faster process but the I-130 petitions have been moving fairly quickly also. By your time line you are already 3 months into your k-3 visa so it would probably get approved first even if you filed a CR-1/IR-1 now. I would just continue your current course but that is just my opinion.

you should process both coz in my case the CR1 was completed but k3 still on administrative processing......so you really don't know which one is gonna get stuck.

The CR1/IR1 visa is a lot faster in most cases as long as you follow LingChe's shortcuts, that way you can pay all fees online and print the needed forms as well instead of waiting for an answer for the NVC. I believe it is the case for people going through the embassy in Brazil.

So if you can, read the shortcuts, familiarize yourself with them and get the CR1/IR1 visa. You won't regret it because not only can it be faster than the K3, but you won't have to file for AOS after your spouse gets here.
