Hi,

Any originals you can get is good. Photocopies are OK. I scanned and sent many copies for Shir and the counsel did not say anything about them.

I also had lots of originals from hotel bills and such so maybe counsel was convinced but them.

I think the main issue is to have lots and lots of evidences. The more the better. This shows that you are serious and truly want to be with your SO. This desire is the most important aspect of the interview. Shir was asked to show very little. I believe this was because she showed her love in her eyes and in her voice when she spoke about me and the counsel could see this.

If your heart is pure you will have no troubles.

But then I am a romantic so what do I know... :innocent:

In general, you do not have to provide originals unless specifically requested by the instructions. Photocopies are acceptable, however, you should bring originals to show the CO if asked during the interview.

Secondary evidence of relationship and identity.

Principle applicants should be prepared to submit evidence that further establishes their relationship with the petitioner and with their spouse and any children applying for visas. Every applicant will need to prove identity. Bring these items to your interview:

Six or more personal photos with the primary applicant and petitioner (and spouse and children if they are applying) taken over a period of time; also include a copy of the petitioner’s U.S. passport or Permanent Resident Card.

Personal correspondence, home telephone records or financial records showing an ongoing relationship.

Proof of joint property ownership, joint financial obligations or remittances from the petitioner

Baptismal records, medical records, school records and year books with photos, old and current professional ID’s.

All old passports.

Any other evidence you feel might be helpful.

The Consul expects you to bring these items to prove relationship and identity. Leaving secondary evidence at home on the interview day may cause delays in issuing your visa.
