Hey VJ'ers!

I am filling out the DS-230 and #20 says "list below all places you have lived for at least six months since reaching the age of 16...."

Anyways, I went to school for 4 years in the U.S. obviously from August until May then returned home to Canada afterwards.

What has everyone else done? I don't know if I need to put every address on there? But I want to be very VERY careful....

Also for #25. What have you put? EVERY visit? I honestly used to go to the U.S. as a kid a lot, so I'm thinking of just putting my OPT (student work visa) and F-1 student visa info....

Yikes! :o

I put down all addresses (city, province and country) making sure there was no gap between any of the dates.

For #25 I put down everything I could remember for about the last 10 years (which is how long we have been travelling back and forth). I had to add extra pages so in the third column on the form I just typed" Additional information attached"

There was also a thread on the Canada forum about this issue. It will give you an idea about what others did.

Good luck.

I did as OBX said and included an additional page with a spreadsheet. I travelled overseas and lived and worked in NZ, Aus and UK so I have a lot of addresses too (#20). There is no way I could using the form alone! I also used the same spreadsheet as my record of visits when I crossed the border to the US - they asked for the dates of the last few visits and duration and there is no way I could remember off the top of my head.
