Ahh had to bump this thread... so I don't know very much about golf or brands but I was trying to call a member to tell him that I found his golf bag which was branded: Titleist.

So when I call him I was telling him the brand and I said.... TITLIST.

Yep. Only I didn't realize what I had said until after the fact and after the awkward silence coming from the other end of the line. Where's the hole where I can crawl into? Someone get me a shovel.

 I always see the pros on TV wearing hats that say titleist and always wondered how to pronounce it!

I'm not sure if I'd call either of these my "most embarrassing" moment, but both certainly stick out in my mind.

1. In my Freshman year of high school, I had English class first thing in the morning. High school began at 7:30 AM, so I was always a little groggy. One day I was apparently too tired and I somehow managed to knock myself -- and my desk -- over and onto the floor. The other kids laugh, of course. The teacher walked up to me and said, "Good morning."

2. This took place in Junior High, but one day, in the cafeteria, I had managed to spill spaghetti sauce (or what passed for it) on my shorts. Dropping food on yourself is normally somewhat embarrassing, but when you drop chunky blood-red sauce onto your crotch in Junior High, you're bound for trouble. I raced to the men's bathroom and attempted to wash it off. That didn't work too well and when some other kids came in, they took one look at me and started making "he's having his period" jokes.

You know whats worse than #2? Actually having it and bleeding over the stupid bright yellow chairs they had in class....trying to pretend you sat on a crayon or something.

My most embarassing moment I would say would have to be...One night playing wow...back when Wes wasnt raiding. We would talk on skype. I was raiding but it didn't really require me to have any brain power behind it cuz we had been farming the content for months. Well he and I decided to have a little....fun....and I accidentally hit my bind key for vent as I was crooning at him. I believe the whole guid heard something along the lines of "Oh yeah, take it off sexy man"

I've had similar things happen in WoW but in text that. We used to type rather racy things to each other during the long, boring explanations that raid leaders like to give before boss fights. Everyone is supposed to be paying attention to their instructions but this guy liked to go on and on. I didn't realize that another guild member has spent me a message right before I typed just what I wanted to do to Phil at that moment. Of course, I hit reply to the last message instead of typing out Phil's character name. The person responded with "oh baby", took a screenshot and posted it on our guild website.

I love all these stories.

A few years back Jared had come to visit me at my parent's house. You know how it is when you don't see each other often..the FIRST thing you think about after about 5 minutes is.."so can..we ..do it now?"

Well after saying hello and how are you to my parents, I took him into my bedroom and onto the floor! (sorry this is a little racy now that I think about it...)

Well, as the action is happening my mum is knocking on the door, "Can I get Jared something to eat?"

and I'm a little out of breath and I'm like, "No, he's fine right now.."

She doesn't take that for an answer and continues to ask about 5 questions and by the fifth question I just yell,

"Ma! PRIVACY PLEASE!"

and she starts to laugh and goes away.

Needless to say she killed the moment as I was embarrassed she knew exactly what was going on by that point.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Oh gawd - just laughing at the things I've accidentally said in WoW when I thought they were in whisper mode :)

Long before our friends knew about us - Don said something about Honey blah blah blah.....in guild chat. The channal went dead - you could have heard crickets...we were so embarassed

Wow this thread is good for some laughs! You guys ever read this site... fmylife.com? Its sooo funny! These people make me feel better about my own life

The most embarrassing thing i can think of off the top of my head is when I threw up on the dentist... I was getting my wisdom teeth out and apparently i'm allergic to the anesthetic they use? So i woke up, stumbled to the door and said "i'm going to throw up" being half asleep... and she went and put a bucket under my head but my... projection was a little to far... ahaha in the middle of the Dentist office as the receptionist and everyone in the waiting room could see me too.

Yesterday in a 4th year political science seminar I went to talk and I let out this giant hiccup instead... That was pretty embarrassing! To make it worse, i started laughing but everyone just stared at me and didn't react. Stupid, stuffy university kids!

Oh my, that is a funny website! I wonder if half the stuff is true or they just make it up.

This isn't an embarrassing moment, but it certainly counts as a stupid one.

One morning my wife was making eggs for breakfast. Out of nowhere, I suddenly said to her: "You know... you have eggs too."

My wife took one look at the eggs she was cooking and replied, "Great. Now I can't eat these."
