Montreal Consulate Parking

I'm just looking at area hotels for my interview and considering getting a hotel from which we can walk or one a bit father and then just driving there the morning of the interview. Is there parking available near the Consulate in Montreal? Thanks!

I think you can pay for parking in the parking lot owned by LaTour.....I think it's open to the public during the day...its on

Rue de Bleury..which runs parallel to Rue Alexandre, which is where the door to the consulate is located...if you're driving up Rene-levesques ouest, you want to turn DOWN rue de bleury to get to the parking, and the consulate doors are turning UP st -alexandre..

I am the worst at giving directions!

I think there are parking garages close by too, but I know this parking lot is open air.

I'm pretty sure it was 12 or 15 bucks to park in the all day parking on the street from where the consulate is on, but if you get in line first, there are meters in on the street that the consulate is on, and they don't accept coins till 9am, and we where out about 10 mins before 9, so if you're first in line, you can risk it lol. we didn't mind the all day since we just drove down there and park there when we ate. hotels charge 12 bucks a day for parking anyways down there, even the one you're staying at.

We stayed at the La Tour Centre Ville, Its right across the street from the consulate with underground parking that costs extra of course.

Thanks! I think we'll use the all-day parking lot to which wowswift referred.
