DS-3032 finally accepted!!! I sent it over a week ago.... I'm going to go home, pay it. Wait for the cover sheet then mail this sucker in!!!!

my husband is working on his 2008 taxes, we are not sure when he will get it, i wonder if we can send the AOS package with only 2005-2006-2007 taxes and bring 2008 tax later with me to the interview, we are working hard to prepare all documents required by NVC so we can finish before april so waiting for 2008 tax to be done may delay us, any suggestions friends?????

i was thinking the same princess...but i would rather wait couple more days and have it done now then being stressed out if the NVC will wait till 4/15 and send me RFE!

As far as i remember from the shortcuts...it takes some time until they will req AOS!

Mine too. Dont worry. I talked to someone and they said since my case was receive feb. 26, they probably didnt touch it until Tuesday (which is when I called). and there was a delay due to the storm Monday. tired of waiting :wacko: , i sent the email last night even if ds-3032 was not generated yet!!!! i saw many vj's members do it and their emails were accepted so i took the risk and sent it :star:

after posting my last reply i called NVC and found that they have generated the ds3032 and AOS bill last night, it means i've sent the ds-3032 email at the right time wohooooooooo :dance:

As far as i remember from the shortcuts...it takes some time until they will req AOS!

my husband is doing his best to make it ready quickly but if it's gonna delay us , we will not send it and just explain in a letter with the AOS package that i will bring 2008 tax with me to the interview

my ds-3032 was generated last week, but some how the automated voice message didnt say that,but i finally got to know it last night and i emailed the ds-3032 right away. now waiting on the bills. i havent filed for taxes this year yet, waiting for my w2 to come. i have a problem. last year when i filed taxes, i filed them as single, because when i told them my husband didnt have ssn they said that i have to file single. but wont it make a problem now??? :unsure::wacko:

I cannot believe it will be a problem. The purpose for the tax returns is to show you have the ability to support him. Even not having this year's taxes complete should not be a problem, especially if you provide several past year's tax returns. I plan to include 05 - 07 and not worry about 2008 since I have not filed them yet ( I usually do an extension anyway!).

I cannot believe it will be a problem. The purpose for the tax returns is to show you have the ability to support him. Even not having this year's taxes complete should not be a problem, especially if you provide several past year's tax returns. I plan to include 05 - 07 and not worry about 2008 since I have not filed them yet ( I usually do an extension anyway!).

I was talking to an operator ones and she told me that I don't have to send 2008 taxes since they are not due until April. If I was you I would call them and ask, but I am pretty sure that you don't need 2008. Good luck :thumbs:

Finally sent my AOS package today!!! I sent in with my 2008 taxes just to be sure (and I more money last year too). Still waiting for my husband's Italian police certificate... I have the IV packet all ready. I just need that certificate!!!
