Hello Everyone;;

The reason I was excited about the I-130 was because the adjustment of status is not needed later and she should have her EAD and SSN very quiickly. If I do elect to go with the K-3, can someone fill me in on the timeline for her to be able to work?

This is something important for her and I thnk being able to interact with othe people will help her adjust as well. I am at the crossroads and must decide soon.

With the CR-1 she can work as soon s her SS card is issued. No waiting.

I was approved on the 12th but still havent recievedthe noa2 hardcopy do i need to wait for that to contact nvc or not necessery?

wht do u guys think about it?? will it be a problem??? in this morning ,,AVR was update for my case that they have received my ds-3032 and today i received aos bill in the mail and when i went online to pay my aos bill,IV bill was also showing that not paid so i paid that one too ,but now i am thinking IV fee bill has not been generated yet but it was available so i paid, and for both now the status is IN PROCESS.

do u guys think i am gonna have problem with IV bill because it has not been generated yet????

NO the moment they accepted your DS-3032 they generate IV bill that means they open it up to be paid

so you won't get in trouble

that happened to me I called to double check and it was fine

when showed paid you can download both bar coded cover sheet

and can mail in both AOS & IV package once that happens

I am in the same scenario, but in my case the Visa Bill was not generated immediately, even though the bill was available to be paid online, so im going to check with an operator again tomorrow.

No you need not wait for the Hard copy of NOA2

You can call NVC right away to check if they have generated your case number........later followup for DS3032 and AOS bill.....

I am approved on Feb 17th. The NVC journey begins... I called the automated number this morning no number assigned from that. I am not in a hurry to call the operator yet. I didn't expect approval for a couple months!

we got conformation NVC has received both AOS andIV packages. Praying for no RFE and a quick case complete.

NVC received my DS-3032 yesterday and it was entered in the system today so I am expecting my IV bill to be generated by Monday. In the mean time I will receive AOS hard copy and so my IIN. I will pay my bills online and hopefully will send them by Tuesday. And then the waiting begins.

And for those of you that didn't read the wiki for NVC, if the bill is available online it means it has been generated, the AVR is not as reliable and most of the time it updates with a lag. So read the wiki and hopefully it will all go smooth for you.

I received my hardcopy today but NVC still hasnt received my case. When they do I can go ahead fill out the DS-3032 and email it right? When I mail it though what do I send it with? Any other forms or by itself?

Here is something a little strange..........

Daughter approved Feb 11, wife Feb 13, called today and have wife's NVC number, but nothing for the daughter. When I arrived home, I found the NOA2 for the wife and I compared to the daughter's.

My wife has an A number and my daughter does not.

I called USCIS and the agent told me the number has not been generated yet because they are so busy, and I should call back in two weeks. Maybe then it will be available. This does not sound right to me. Knowing USCIS, they would not have sent the I-797 without the A number if she is supposed to have one. She is 6 years old.

Anyone run into this before???????
