well if she has the K-3 approved then go for it. It will go to the Embassy faster. The other post i was addressing they had got approval for their I-130 before the K-3 was approved. I would suggest getting the K-3 and doing the adjustment once they are here. No telling how long it will be before the 130 is approved.

sorry i forgot you already had the approvals for the I-130s. i would suggest she get more than one copy of the original documents anyway you always will need them and once in the states it would be more difficult to get.

Have you tried calling the AVR to get your case number from NVC? the number is (603) 334-0700. all you need to call is your USCIS case number(NOA-1 number).

OK update. We just got the paid conformation of both fee bills and printed the cover sheets for the AOS and DS-230 packages mailing them today. Hopefully we can get an April interview.

No, I haven't actually...Don't I still have to wait for the paper from USCIS to arrive in teh mail? still hasn't BTW

No you dont have to wait on USCIS letter to check to see if you have a NVC number because you can use your NOA-1 number to check at NVC. just call that number a couple days after you receive the USCIS email. Keep trying till you get it. I called 2-3 times a day till i got mine.

Same happened with us we got our conformation of the DS3032 email accepted before we got the AOS bill in the mail. We received the bill 1 week after we arrived at NVC. With the holidays it might be a little longer.
