We answered basically the same way, keeping it short, sweet, and to the point.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

You don't answer this question for K3 because the fact that you are married overrides the issue of when and how you met.

If I had filed for K1 instead of K3, I would have written, "We met on internet (Date) and I traveled to (her city) to meet (her name) in person on (date) for (how long). I would then provide copies of my passport stamps and boarding passes as supporting evidence.

Really short and to the point. I could almost fit my answer in the space provided in the forms, I gave one photo and passport stamps and boarding passes to support that was in the place I said I was, when I said. Approved in 58 days, no RFE's

I added a supplemental explaining how we met online and then met in person when I went to visit my friend.

I went with the K-1 because, at the time, it was running five or six months faster. From start to finish we got the K-1 visa in a little over 3 months
