HI GUYS I HAD MY INTERVIEW MONDAY AT 145 PM ON MONDAY THE FEB 9TH AT THE CHULA VISTA SERVICE CENTER I TOOK ALMOST AN HOUR BEFORE WE GOT CALL IN WE HAD A NICE PERSON , THEY WILL HAS U HOW THEY MEET PICS ALL BILLS AND PROOF THAT U LIVE TOGHETER. IN OUR CASE WHEN WE SUMMITED THE APLICATION FOR THE AOS/ WE HAD A DIFERENT ADDRESS/AND WE MOVED BUT WE DIDNT HAVE UTILITY BILLS FOR THAT OLD ADDRESS /HE WAS REALLY PICKY ABOUT THAT/AFTER ALMOST AN HOUR IN THE INTERVIEW. WE HAD QUESTION LIKE WHO MADE BREAKFAST /HOW MANY BEDROOMS AND HOW MANY SINKS IN THE BATHROOM/WHAT SIDE OF THE BED DO YOU SLEEP AND WHY, OF LIKE 5 QUESTIONS FOR THE 485, AT THE END HE SAYS THAT HE APROOVED OUR CASE AND STAMP MY PASSPORT AND TOLD US ABOT THE 2 YEAR CONDITION AND ALSO THAT WE ARE GOING TO GET THE GREEN CARD WITHIN 10- DAYS. UFFFF . OR NEXT STOP WAS SEEING FAMILY IN TIJUANA THAT SAME DAY...

Removing of Conditions

May 9, 2011 - October 4, 2011 (approval on September 28th)

Naturalization

July 19, 2014 - N400 packet sent out

July 21, 2014 - N400 packet delivered

July 23, 2014 - received email/text that I-797 is issued

July 26, 2014 - received I-797 in mail

August 11, 2014 - received the Biometrics notification

August 14, 2014 - biometrics walk-in (original date August 20)

August 18, 2014 - in line for interview scheduling

September 9, 2014 - yellow letter is received (letter is issued September 3)

November 3, 2014 - interview notice is issued (email/text alert)

November 10, 2014 - interview notice received with the interview date of December 11, 2014.

November 10, 2014 - request to reschedule mailed out

December 5, 2014 - interview notice is sent out (email/text alert)

December 11, 2014 - received an interview letter in mail

January 10, 2015 - interview on Saturday at 7am

January 26, 2015 - sent the requested documentation

February 26, 2015 - oath letter is issued (email/text alert)

March 2, 2015 - oath letter is received

March 18, 2015 - oath at 8am

3/24/11 Received 10 year Green Card in the mail - Done. Feels good :-) 'till we do this again for US Citizenship.

12/5/11 mailed packet for Naturalization

12/9/11 was received by USCIS.

4/6/12 received letter for fingerprint appn.

4/23/12 9am fingerprint appointment - done :-)

4/30/12 Recieved Letter for Interview - Sche. 5/31

5/31/12 Interview & Testing

5/31/12 Testing Approved - Waiting for next step

6/21/12 Rcvd email, placed application in the oath sched. que :-)

6/25/12 Rcvd letter - Oath Ceremony is on 7/11/12 @ 9:15am :-)

I was going to get my interview on the chula vista office... but they changed it to the one in downtown!!

I heard that they're really hard heads on that particular office.. but im glad that you came out with your approval!!

my interview is in 2 weeks... so.... im getting ready

Congratulations! We'll also be having our interview at the Chula Vista service center on Tuesday, Feb 17. All our supporting documents including our bills, insurances, letter from IRS re: my tax number, bill from my recent dental work, as well as delivery receipts of our purchases showing my name are placed in the accordion envelope we specifically bought for our AOS interview. We'll also bring the compilation of greeting cards/letters we got from our family and friends (including the delivery receipt from my mom-in-law's gift to us last Christmas), our wedding album, most recent photos and the webcam photo scrapbook I used during my interview in the Philippines. We're hoping and praying that our interview will be as successful as everyone else knowing that it will be more easier this time since my husband and I will be doing this together :)
