Mamata,

For I can see, it is apparently good news, as it CSC works faster than VSC who are still processing forms received in the first trimester of last year.

Let's hope that we get approved soon!

Especially because it seems like it will take another 6 months of wait before we hear anything... So far it appears to have stayed at VSC. No snail mail NOA or update on uscis.gov website for us yet.

What date does your NOA shows that VSC received your paperwork????

The theory so far seems to be that those who were received after June 1st have been transferred, but we really don't have much info to go from...

golferadam, what date shows on your NOA letter? I bet you it's May 31st or before.

I got another theory guys and gals, VSC is transferring June - September 2008 files to CSC, so the total for 80,000 cases is span out for 4 months backlog. While CSC is doing June - September 2008, VSC is going to concentrate on clearing December 2007 - May 2008. So by the time the transfer process finish on April 2009, if the whole transfer process is taking 8 weeks, both VSC and CSC would be making the "within 6 months" target which means by April 2009, VSC would be doing October 2008 cases and CSC would probably be doing December 2008/January 2009.

So 1st & 2nd weeks, June filers transfer. 3rd & 4th weeks, July filers transfer. 5th & 6th weeks, August filers transfer. 7th & 8th weeks, September filers transfer.

Mark you calendar fellow VJers! Hope everyone gets a speedy smooth approval! Since I just filed the end of January 2009 at VSC, it would be 6 months waiting for me, so I'm expecting approval for me by late July/early August 2009. Too bad I still haven't received my biometrics letter yet, I wish they would give me some sympathy for getting bingo on their movements.

Oh! Man! I want to retrieve this post now. I don't want any Immigration Officer come barge in my house and deport me for having conspiracy theories on USCIS. :innocent:

Had to call the 800 line to question something our address change (I really wish they made the I-865 clearer since we never filed the I-864) but anyway like always they had no clue about these transfers. It's all cool anyway but I am glad to see they are actually doing this!

I have just checked the processing times of CSC and it says that they are processing within 6months. Now, I am wondering, will it take a further 6 months for them to process? Or will they expedite it a bit because we have been waiting for 8 months?

Congrats and good luck...its still long wait for NVC journey...so, keep relax ..wait and watch..

good luck

For those of you transferred, please post and let us know if your timeline is improved because of the transfer. The caseload adjustment was supposed to speed up processing times. Remember that you can still involve your Representative if the transfer puts you outside the posted USCIS timeframs for approval. There is a Congressional Liason at USCIS that handles delayed cases, and there have been some positive posts in the past about late processing being sped up this way IF the case is past the USCIS posted time. Good luck to all

Hi Everyone,

Wow, so this isn't a rumour and/or speculated truth after all! I can't believe that the VSC is actually transferring its I-751 cases to the CSC! Hopefully all VSC cases will be approved faster this "CSC transferred" way!

Hmmm...interesting theory here, that Jasminelily has mentioned about in this message thread. And it actually makes quite a lot of sense too (and hopefully becomes reality). Lol...bonus points to them, for "cracking the VSC to CSC transfer code":

I got another theory guys and gals, VSC is transferring June - September 2008 files to CSC, so the total for 80,000 cases is span out for 4 months backlog. While CSC is doing June - September 2008, VSC is going to concentrate on clearing December 2007 - May 2008. So by the time the transfer process finish on April 2009, if the whole transfer process is taking 8 weeks, both VSC and CSC would be making the "within 6 months" target which means by April 2009, VSC would be doing October 2008 cases and CSC would probably be doing December 2008/January 2009.

Ok, so based on this theory, it looks like my August 2008 I-751 file would be transferred to the CSC too, which is a good thing (that is, if they don't lose my file while transferring it over to the other side of the country...lol...), and will get approved within "6 months target" (lol..well, give or take a couple of weeks and months, as I'm approaching the 6 months target this week already). We'll see what happens though, as I still have some doubts about all of this, as who knows, there might be a backlog for the transfered cases CSC too because of all these VSC backlogged cases...

Gee, you would think that the VSC would have done this eariler, seeing that similar CSC cases were being approved in 3-5 months, versus similar VSC cases in 10-12 months. Oh well, "better late than never" to somehow admit their incompetency by transferring the I-751 cases somewhere else. I still wonder though, what the delay at the VSC was really about...Odd how 2 centers can do the same job, yet work at different paces in getting the job done. Hmmm.....

Good luck Everyone on your immigration journeys!

Ant (Still waiting at the VSC and waiting to be transferred to the CSC, Still waiting for Baby...)

P.S. If your I-751 case has been transferred from VSC to CSC, feel free to add that updated information to the "VSC I-751 Status List" here too (go to the last updated list page):

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;#entry2646137

This new update is helpful in knowing when VSC cases are transferred to the CSC and approved there. Hopefully all VSC cases will be approved faster this "CSC transferred" way! Thank you.
