Either way for me it's a win-win case.

Even if I'm put at the bottom of the pile at CSC they take no more than 4 months to process an I-751, more commonly they take 2/3 months.

If I'm put at the top of the pile (as it should be, at least I hope so), then I have less than a couple of months to wait.

If I stay at VSC, they're currently 4 months away.

GolferAdam we are in TX too. I am not sure what will happen now, but I am not at all happy about this... Especially because it seems like it will take another 6 months of wait before we hear anything... However, I notice that you sent your paperwork in May, we sent ours in June, and got transferred, do you think yours might have stayed in VSC? Or have you received a NOA like mine above?

:ot2:Back to the topic , I think if USCIS is transferring the case, they'll send an e-mail, so GolferAdam, look out for the e-mail, seems like no e-mail, not transfered. I'm seeing some posts that USCIS rep. said to some VJers that they're doing cases somewhere in June 08. Keep looking for the status list, if you see a lot of people get approved for June and you're not hearing anything, start calling USCIS.

Now as far as priority, I check the status list of CSC, most people filed in Nov 08 already got approved, so CSC is fast and they should be doing Dec 08 now . I think they will prioritize by filing date, so Anyta Holland, you should be happy that you got transfered because CSC is going to make a decision on your case right away (June 08 filing date is top of the line according to my theory) once they received the transfer.

To all Houstonians, so sad to see Bill White hit his mayor term limit. He's one of a kind who doesn't sugar coat. Although he got some scandals about his daughter drunk driving and sent a real estate promotion letter, but he's so practical that he and Judge Ed Emmett were bashing FEMA like there's no tomorrow and made sure things get done during Hurricane Ike. So I did some digging - I looked at EAC numbers 'around' my own number, looking for petitions that are CR189 with the same status message and date as mine (July 1).

oh! wannabe_texan, where did you dig up a list from? and how come people before and after got transferred but you didn't. Really don't understand how USCIS works. May be they're still transferring but they just haven't got to you yet, since 80,000 @ 10,000 per week.

Hey guys... I was trying to remember when exactly we sent the paperwork, and I cannot remember for my life! I was able to find that the check was cashed on June 26th (at least that is what the statement shows). But I can't find any info beyond that... I am sorry! Since I am not at home at the moment I can't go and look for NOA1 but I know the biometrics letter was sent out on July 11th.

As for VSC, they are currently dealing with applications from Jan 27th '08, so not sure what was meant by Italian_in_NYC who said that they were 4 months away.

Either way, I am starting to feel a bit more relieved becuase it seems that we will have the Permanent GC before Sept 4th which is when the one year extension runs out.

I don't mean to be argumentative, but their website says they are processing cases sent on Jan 27th '08. And if you are going by the status list on the forum, it kind of stops after 28th Feb 08. Whereas the status list of CSC shows continuity until Nov 08. That is more than 4 months...

The USCIS website lists dates as of Nov 30, 2008 (2 1/2 months ago), even though it was posted on Jan 27, 09.

Meanwhile, according to the list on this forum (which by no mean represents a correct statistical pool) has 3 people from March and one from April already approved. It means they are working on March/April cases (doesn't mean all Jan/Feb cases are done though).

Don't know about I-751. But I have a friend who files I-130 got transferred to CSC and they sent both e-mail and snail mail.

Right, just got home and checked NOA1 and our paperwork was received at VSC on June 20th. However, I remember sending it the first week of June, but I can't find proof of that.

Anyways, KiminOn, the email says they have sent a notice and to follow whatever instructions in that letter. So I am expecting something in the mail no later than Friday next week...
