hi guys,i got my visa today. how long it will expire? because i need to wait my baby for her to get visa too, we start process her last month. for her case would it be quicker for her?pls advice.

honestly i didnt open the package yet. im scared to open it. sorry. i only read the instrustions there about the yellow envelope not to open

Visa expiration is indicated in your passport. You could open the plastic NOT the brown envelope. You also need to attend CFO.

Your visa expires in approximately 6 months. I had my interview December 9th and my visa expires around the end of May. My daughter's expires about a week later. Go ahead and open the plastic and get your passport. You need to photocopy the Immigrant Data Summary and the passport for getting the CFO sticker. The CFO form will ask for your registration number and visa number which are both in the passport.

12-09-08 - INTERVIEW @ 6:30AM...God be with us! --- APPROVED!!!

12-11-08 - VISAS RECEIVED....YAHOOOOO!!!

04-07-09 - POE: Chicago O'hare

04-28-09 - received SSN's (after having to apply for them personally!!!!)

04-30-09 - Received our 2-year GREEN CARDS

01-07-09 - ROC, here we come!!!

01-18-11 - Mailed out I-751
