our hamster is so cute but she is really shy.. she prefers to hide out when she isn't eating.. she seems to like to roll around in her ball though... she does let us touch her but she doesn't seem to like it much .. she did freak out once on hubby when he scared her but she didn't bite.. just started hissing at him...

we also have a goldfish named Psycho.. not sure if that is considered an odd pet :P

I had the normal, a dog, a doberman named Torie, a cat named Elvis, two horses named Willie & Nelson and one hamster who I called Harold Sir. Walter Wiskers Molecule! oh and I can't forget the numerous tanks of Goldfish.

We just have a dog. I have had birds, fish, hamsters, gerbils, and a rabbit and a mouse. I'm not sure I'd consider any of those all that unusual, but they are not dogs or cats. My first pet, when I was 8 years old, was a crayfish named Bridget. We had crayfish for a class project and no one else wanted to take home "Queen Crabby" because she was the biggest crayfish and they were afraid of her, so I took her home and renamed her Bridget. My husband used to have a guinea pig. We'd kind of like to get a hamster, but we're afraid he'd end up as a snack for our dog.

Could you imagine if we had to share the road with sloth drivers???

You'd beep your horn, give them the finger and they would slowly turn to you and smile. Ahh the mental image!

Never a dull moment inside me brain.

Guess you have never drove in Victoria BC before!!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
