We have 2 ferrets :) They love to play and are just sooo adorable. Just be careful not to leave anything of importance on the ground or close to the ground where they can reach it cause they love to steal and hide it .. lol

Does Boxey the Wonder Turtle count?

Boxey is a Western Box turtle we've had for a number of years and like eating worms and trying to escape her aquarium

I'm just a wanderer in the desert winds...

I used to keep rats, but when I get to the US I'm getting a ferret and a few chickens.

I would have loved to be able to have a ferret, but they are illegal as pets in California :(

Same here. What makes it worse is that my mom has a cousin in Montana that breeds them :crying:

I had a ball python, but that didn't last too long. He tried to eat my mother's cat. I've had Jackson Chameleon's, and they aren't real good pets. They are easily stressed out and they have a very stringent diet. They also don't really like to be held too much. I had an iguana who was an incredible pet. You just need to get them when they are young and socialize them. I also had an emperor scorpion. Bad pet, he liked to sting, but it wasn't very painful when he did.

How come ferrets are illegal?

I can't wait to get one (or two). I've kept rats for over 10 years but have always wanted a ferret.

How come ferrets are illegal?

There is no official reason from the state. What people who ooppose them being allowed into the state will tell you is that they can become feral, and we have no idea what impact they would have on the ecosystem and food supply of other creatures. I don't really buy it though.

If I could, I'd own a Vampire Penguin with rockets strapped to his back.

I don't know why, but I actually googled "vampire penguin" thinking it was a possibility.

No such thing. I blame it on a hard days work and extreme fatigue.

Donne moi une poptart!

No way on an ark I would be shovelling all day long. On 160 arces all most of the by products end up helping the veggies grow.
