Hi everyone! Finally, i have an interview date which will be on March 19, 2009! I'm not nervous right now just disappointed as i have wished it was sooner. I just miss my husband so much. My husband called the NVC to know when my interview date would be as what he has been doing since last week- calling NVC. We haven't received the appointment letter but once its with me, I'll be doing my medical so I'm done with it and somehow relieve me from anxiety.

This afternoon, I have been preparing of the stuffs I need to bring to the US embassy for my interview.

1. My Birth Certificate (original) and husband's birth Certificate (photocopy)

2. Marriage Certificate

3. CENMAR

4. Photocopies of my husband's passport ( QUESTION: Does this have to be Notarized to be a Certified True Copy???)

5. Photocopy of my husband's military ID

6. W2 (2007)

7. 1040 US Income Tax Return (2005,2006 & 2007)

8. DS230 (1st page signed, 2nd page not yet signed)

9. Pictures [All pictures including Wedding and Honeymoon Pictures even Neoprints (hahaha)]

10. Letters and Cards

11. Emails

12 . Vonage Phone Bills

13. My Cellphone Bills

14. His Cellphone Bills showing that he messaged me (Tmobile bills)

15. Military Page 2 showing I'm his wife

16. Western Union Remittances

17. NBI Clearance (Personal Copy since the other half is with the NVC)

18. 2 pcs of 2x2 pictures

What i need to accomplish?

DS156 (2 copies)

DS 156K

DS 157

AM I MISSING ON ANYTHING? PLEASE TELL ME.

And of course I need to bring the APPOINTMENT LETTER and my PASSPORT.

Thanks everyone and never lose hope. I know I'm guilty of this but long distance relationship is just so hard that as each day pass by the more I miss my husband.

April

I think you are fine. when in doubt, always bring everything you can with you to the interview. It is harder to get an AR. So bring whatever you think is needed. It won't hurt at all. Good luck and God bless! :star:

Hi! My case was closed last Feb. 6. How did your husband find out about your interview date? You're so lucky you'll be doing yours next month. Others wait for a couple of months or so before they get interviewed. My husband has been calling but has only been getting recorded messages. Did your husband speak with a live operator?

P.S. Judging from the list of stuff you're bringing with you on your interview, you ARE ready as ever for it! God bless!

1 603 334-0700 thats the number my husband use to call NVC. Yup you have to talk to the operator because the recorded messages are not updated. That happened to us a lot of times.
