Has Anyone Used Honolulu as Your POE??

I'm leaving on Feb.16, my POE is Honolulu, Hawaii... I hope the people are nice... Once I'm done, I will tell what's in the interview..:)

Citizenship Timeline:

May 21, 2012 - Mailed N-400 at Phoenix, AZ

May 24, 2012 - Checked en cashed

May 25, 2012, received NOA letter with Notice date May 23, 2012

June 25, 2012 - received Biometric appointment letter, scheduled July 19, 2012

August 03, 2012 - received the initial letter

Sept 04, 2012 - Interview date

Nov. 02, 2012 - Oath Ceremony

My wife and anak came thru Hono. People were nice and helpful. Have a copy of your DS 3025. They've taken some peeps by mistake. Makes it tougherdoing AOS without one.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Honolulu is not my POE.It was in Guam but I had stop-over there in Honolulu when I travelled here and all I can say is that all the people there are sooooo nice and very helpful.

I was with my daughter and we had 2 balikbayan boxes,2 big luggages and 2 hand carry.And they helped all the way to carousel to get our baggages and carried it for me because Honolulu was my Baggages Customs Checking/Clearance.

The custom officer let me unlock my baggage for checking and told me to go to our Gate number and they will be the one to transfer it all the way here in Florida for our final destination.So I didn't have a problem transfering our baggages.We travelled via Continental Airlines.

Also,Guam as my POE.. I didnt have a hard time..all of the staffs and the Immigration Officer were so nice and helpful.Most of the staffs are Filipino.

Happy Trip soon.

04/25/2012 - sent N-400 package to USCIS Dallas

04/28/2012 - package delivered at USCIS Dallas

I-751 Removal of Condition

03/22/2011 - sent I-751 package to USCIS Vermont via USPS Priority+Certified mail with Return receipt

03/24/2011 - package delivered at VSC according to USPS tracking

03/25/2011 - package received by Center Director according to Return receipt

04/04/2011 - NOA received - dated 03/25/2011

04/11/2011 - Biometrics Appointment Notice received -notice date 04/08/2011

Also..when I had stop-over in Honolulu..the officer asked me what's in our baggages because it was really big and heavy.2 of them are full of foods,and some things I need.I told them its just our personal things and they let us go to our boarding gate.

Honolulu is my POE,it was great and nice officer,you have different line for immigration when you entered,you go to left side of immigration for interview but somebody will guide you there anyway...if you were taking connecting flights you can check in after have been for interview..the place you get your luggage infront of it you can check in for your next flight or take it to next terminal where you take your next flight and check in there.

HI! I'm going to be going to USA in early March...I'm thinking of flying from Manila to Honolulu before going to LAX. Has anyone had experience going to Immigration and Customs though Honolulu you can tell me about? Thanks!
