Hello, I have completely filled out the G-325a form (all the pages..) on my computer (PDA form) and saved it when I thought I was finished with it. After reviewing it I found out that I need to make a minor change to it, however now that I have saved it, it will not let me make any changes to it/type inside the box anymore. Is there anyway to change this, or do I have to fill out all of the pages again?? Thanks a lot. Josh

I just tried it on my computer and i can change the text after saving it; i did notice however, that when i opened the document with my nitro pdf reader, i wasn't able to make any changes; however, when i did it in adobe, no problem.

thanks for the reply. I have a Mac, which is automatically set to Preview (PDA) program. I did download the new Adobe program, however when i converted the G-325 file to Adobe it wouldnt let me edit the document either. I do think that if I had originally saved the file on Adobe it would have let me change the font...

I am not a computer wizard so there is defiantly a chance that I may be missing something....

Do you want to change the font or edit the text? For editing the text, make sure you didn't save as "read only". Check the properties of the file. If it shows as read only, unckeck that.

Yes I meant edit text not font, sorry. On Adobe, I went to: File -> Properties and didn't see a "read only" check box. Maybe Mac's are different  . I guess Ill have to just copy and paste everything. Any other ideas? Thanks!

You need to right click (ctrl+click on Macs) on the file itself and go to Get Info, not within Adobe. Try checking permissions in the Get Info window, it's near the bottom.

Secondarily, I actually had the problem that nothing would save in preview, so I had to do the whole file over again in Acrobat, which worked/saved fine.

Also you mentioned "converting" the file to Adobe. You shouldn't need to do this, just open your .pdf in Acrobat directly. If you did any sort of converting just try opening the straight-up PDF.

Otherwise, taking into consideration my own experiences with preview, you'll just have to do the file over again in Acrobat. Good luck :)
