I am really wondering doesn't it look fishy if you brought to the interview lots of evidence I mean doesn't it look like you are over proofing it???? Plz reply me because all i will bring to the interview is :

1-My husband's passport with Visa stamped 3 times "visited me 3 times in 7 months"

2- Phone records in skype

3- 4 photo albums contains more than 200 photos " in fact we have more than 1000 photos taken of us together and my family and my whole relatives and friends " so do I need to print more???"

4- wedding photos

5- engagment photos

6-movie theater tickets " has no names or anything though"

5- His emails to me and My emails to him but I really rearly email him since I call him like 5 times a day so why write if i can just call for 2 cent a minute?????!!!

6- I have skype in number "Ameircan number" so he calls me after 9 PM US time and it cost both of us NOO money at all.

I don't have any PM mesages because simply we talk by phone not by chatting but we have little history including links and few words we use while we are talkingin the phone ???

so SHOULD i worry??? is evidences are enoughor not ??? I saw huge amount of evidences in your posts and I don't have any

7- I have our tax return filed together and have my name on it that's it..

I need someone to tell I started to worry !!! :help:

Can never have too much as you never really know what is going to be asked for. It looks to me like you have plenty though so dont be worrying. I had a mile of things and wasnt asked to show any evidence. Different country though. Have you checked with anyone that has gone through same embassy to see how picky they are with evidence? Do you have any cards, letters or emails from family and friends congratulating you on the wedding or ones that just simply acknowledge the relationship/marriage? Thats the only thing I can think of outside of what you already have.

You're getting closer now....exciting aye  you are going to do great

I have been in a pickle here with having only dial-up temporarily which gives me the willies and has dictated how little posting I have been doing of late. Drives me nuts  lol All will be fine again come the 20th c19e0415.gif

As for the phone calls from mother in law, there is nothing you could really do to show that. What I took to the interview was emails, cards and letters from Dan's family that talked about things in general (like normal letter) and how great it will be when we were finally able to be together again and how much they were looking forward to seeing me again. Just general acknowledgement and contact.

To the OP seems like you have plenty & should be fine ;) My fiance will bring:

copy of my passport to show stamps(there are 8-no wonder I have no money)

phone bills.....a few from the past 2 years

plane ticket stubs, car rental receipts, hotel receipts

about 5 photos-and more of the ones I originally sent in

a photo of us together in a Dublin newspaper-which is pretty cool :P

I think we have plenty-there can't be a doubt with my $400 a month phone bills-only someone IN LOVE would spend that much money :)

I don't have letters from anyone-I wasn't planning on doing that.

That is not going to be good for me then since we have many many photos in albums all in 4 album..!!!!I hope this is not the case though for Cairo !!

I always call Mark's family and I call my mother in law every week and I can have evidence of that because her phone number is recorded in my skype telephone record it has all the numbers I called and for how long we talked ..that's good thing I have just remmbered that .. Is that going to work???

a photo of us together in a Dublin newspaper-which is pretty cool :P

well I have 3 Magazine's with 3 articles abotu Mark and the NSS has just have made an interview with him in May issue 2006 and in the interview he talked about me shall I bring that to the interview too???

Ok I will now for sure I don't know why for some reaosn I wasn't taking the evidences thing seriously because I find it's rediciouls that I go to interview to proof I love the man I married there should be no other reason for marrying peopel but love but the embassy I go throughis HIGH fraud embassy Howevere it's very very veryrare for middle eastern women to marry an American guy who is not originaly middle eastern though I felt like i don't need any evidences but after what i heard about Cairo embassy I am definetly preparing myself I feel Like I am preparing to " Final Exam in Medical school" I feel that will be the most difficult exam in my whole life ..I never felt that worried about anything ever as I do feel because of that process ..

I will be very very happy if I am still healthy " NO Diabetes or Hypertension" after I get done withthis process ..

It's CRAZY!!!!!!

Check with someone that has been through Cairo to find what is accepted and what isn't, that is your best bet.....but in general photo albums are ok. Perhaps take a selection out and have loose to be shown just in case they are not interested in looking at albums.

The only thing I can see with using phone records for your mother in law is proving that it is her. But it isnt going to hurt your case any.

The magazine interview I would take along if he mentions you

Photo albums and movie tickets I would think are overkill. Have a few photos of the two of you together. We took photos to the interview, but the CO did not even look at them.

At the consulate/embassy it may be better to be prepared to talk about how you met, and be able to confirm the proof that you have provided. Don't overwhelm yourself with a ton of stuff to explain.

Good luck

I had my interview on Tuesday. I had taken a few pictures, a couple of emails, a few chat conversations and some print screens of webcam chats and a letter of intent from the both of us with me, but even though it said on the checklist that evidence of relationship was required, they didn't ask me for a single thing! Maybe it depends on the country and consulate, I don't know.

I agree with Lorelle - take everything you can lay your hands on - just in case..the more the merrier. It's better to have too much than too litle. Don't lay yourself open for a possible RFE.

As for letters from family - all it needs to say really is that they've met you - or *your* family met your husband- and that you are married and they witnessed the ceremony. It can be a few lines. If people are willing to do it for the 2 of you then have them do it.

I also didn't get asked for a single thing, tho I took a LOT of stuff, but I went thru London.
