I was actually wondering, from those aussie's already have their NOA2 how long (i.e. how many days) did it take from your NOA2 to the interview and the issuance of the visa??

Anybody can let me know that please!?

Sure. I've got my interview at the Sydney Consulate next week (YAY!). I wish someone had have given me this website before I got my NOA2:

http://canberra.usembassy.gov/consular/visas/iv/fiance.html

This is the website the Sydney consulate directs to you to tell you what you need to prepare for the interview. If I knew this I would have got my medical done, got my police check done, and got my US fiance to send me all the stuff for the I-134 as soon as she got the NOA2. Then you could have everything ready as soon as you heard from the Consulate.

It took me a couple of weeks to get packet 3 together, and they gave me an interview about 3 weeks later. So from NOA2, it will be about 7weeks. If you had eveything ready to send, you could knock 2 weeks off I guess.

All the best.

Goodluck with the interview Cloudskipper ...

Your Pack 3 will have all the links to the different things you need .... all the forms are found at the top of this page under Downloads and also look at Example Forms (next to Downloads) they will be a great help when filling out your forms ...

Also becareful which police check you get ... you need to do the one with fingerprints its $153.70 in QLD the $40 one is a general police check an employer can request ...

EDIT:

Have a read of this too http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/inde...&cty=Sydney it will help heaps ...

found the melbourne medical costs online. $325 plus vaccination costs, which can be at my regular doctor, but again, it doesn't say what i need to be vaccinated against! :(

Heres a few links for you to read thru .... check out the .pdf links as they have a lot of valuable information ... the last link gives a list of Vaccination and the age requirements .... But ring the clinic and speak to them and theyll give you a better idea ... I thought I would have to get some because I didnt have anything saying I had them and the lady I spoke to told me Id more then likely only need a booster ....

http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dq/pdf/ti_vacc.pdf

So am I correct in saying the vacc I need are the ones listed on page 13 of the last PDF for my age?

so being 36 I would need if I can show no history of any vaccinations?

Td/Tdap

Varicella

or everyone shown?

Thanks

This is starting to get quite stressful and I don't even have my NOA2 or anything yet can't imagine what I will be like then.

I am fairly sure Varicella is Chicken Pox, so if you have had it, you don't shouldn't need the shot. Most aussies that are born here have all these jabs as children. you may just need a tetnus booster, and thats it. Unless you have had one within the last few years?

Looking at that list, I just need to finish my course of HPV shots, and that is it!

Has anyone out there had an RFE from the Vermont Center? We just got notified today and as yet we don't know what we have it for...I'm very disappointed! Does anyone have an idea of how long it will take to get the NOA2 from the RFE? Thanks!

"...it doesn't mean anything without you here with me..." I miss my Timothy :(
