USCIS to NVC paper trail

If anyone is freaking out because it has been way too long in between the time you receive your NOA2 and getting notification from NVC, and you have sent inquiries to NVC and still no record of it, call USCIS and be sure to ask the representatives to speak to an OFFICER. Reps will tell you anything, but the officers know exactly what is going on. It took me 10 times calling USCIS to finally get in touch with an officer and this was her advise.

I was approved on Dec. 22nd and still nothing from NVC. They are saying 30 to 45 working days sometimes, before NVC gets the paperwork....why the hell so long I would really like to know, but......half of the Reps told me that K-1 visas do not go to the NVC, but straight to the Embassies and that is a bunch of malarky. So make sure you get an Officer to place questions with. RexT
