I am a US Citizen and I am retired and live full time in Panama. I have a full time domestica that helps me and is under contract. I have some health issues so she is invaluable for me. She is Colombian. I would like her to travel with me to the USA this summer for several months. It is expensive, impossible and cost prohibitive for her to go to Bogota to apply for a travel or tourist visa. I plan to return to Panama with her and will take all responsibility for her. My question is this: Is it possible to file DCF (direct consular filing) for her to travel with me to the USA.

Thanks for your help

DCF is for married couples.

She does not need to return to Colombia to apply for a tourist visa. Don't know what the chances of her getting one will be.

You'll have to go the the US Embassy in Panama to ask that question because of the number of laws and treaties. There is also a Colombian Embassy there which might be able to help with the answers too. My parent's have had their domesticas travel with them, but they were all Panamanian citizens or at least had cedulas showing they were living and working in Panama. Sorry I don't have much more info.

The longer it takes to introduce yourself the less you've actually accomplished
